Formed by Brady Keehn and Melissa Scaduto, Sextile emerged from Los Angeles’ underground scene with a raw post-punk sound before evolving into one of electronic music’s most boundary-pushing acts. Over the years, they’ve traded guitars for drum machines, acid synths, breakbeats, and pounding techno rhythms, creating music that feels equally at home in a mosh pit or on a warehouse dance floor. Their recent albums, Push and yes, please., embrace everything from EBM and acid house to drum & bass and rave culture while never losing their punk spirit.
Known for chaotic, high-energy performances, Sextile has become a favorite at festivals and clubs alike. Their shows blur the line between a live band and a DJ set, pairing distorted vocals, pounding electronics, and relentless BPMs with an anything-goes attitude that’s earned them a devoted cult following.
