Âme is the German duo of Kristian Beyer and Frank Wiedemann, who met in a Karlsruhe record shop over a shared love of Chicago house and Detroit techno and went on to co-found Innervisions alongside Dixon. Their 2005 track Rej remains one of the defining records of modern deep house, and they've continued releasing on Innervisions ever since, most recently the RY X collaboration Love Is The Dance earlier this year. The two split duties — Kristian plays long-form DJ sets while Frank performs live — and they occasionally combine both formats as Âme II Âme.
