Louis the Child are the Chicago duo of Robby Hauldren and Freddy Kennett, who famously met as teenagers at a Madeon concert in 2012 and turned that origin story into a career built on what they call "kids at play" energy: bright, optimistic future-bass with pop instincts. Their 2015 single "It's Strange" with K.Flay earned a Taylor Swift cosign and a FIFA 16 placement, paving the way for "Weekend" with Icona Pop, "Better Not" with Wafia, and their 2020 debut album Here for Now. Beyond the music they've become known for weaving philanthropy into their tours, donating ticket proceeds to mental health and youth-focused causes show by show.
