Laidback Luke began his career in Amsterdam’s underground house and techno scene before becoming one of the defining artists of the EDM boom. Throughout the 2000s and early 2010s, he released club anthems like Turbulence, Leave The World Behind, Show Me Love, and Till Tonight, while collaborating with artists including Steve Angello, Steve Aoki, David Guetta, Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Diplo. Alongside his own music, Luke became known for discovering and mentoring emerging talent, playing an important role in the early careers of artists like Avicii, Afrojack, and Martin Garrix.
Today, Laidback Luke continues to tour internationally while embracing a wide range of sounds, from classic house and techno to modern festival music. He’s also become one of dance music’s leading educators through DJ tutorials, production courses, and his popular YouTube channel, where he shares techniques and career advice with aspiring DJs and producers.
