Long Bio Juliet Mendoza has been a driving force in Los Angeles house music since the 1990s. Beginning as a house dancer and regular at legendary clubs like Arena and Carnival, she eventually became a promoter, DJ, and founder of Jill’s House, helping shape the city’s underground dance community. Her approach is deeply influenced by her Afro-Latina heritage, blending soulful vocals, deep grooves, Afro-influenced rhythms, and timeless house records into sets that celebrate both the roots and future of the genre. In recent years, Juliet has expanded from respected selector to acclaimed producer with releases on Nu Groove, Lazy Days Music, and Quintessentials, while performing at CRSSD, Splash House, Glitterbox, EDC Las Vegas, and clubs around the world.
