Founded on New Year’s Day in 2004 at London’s Eagle club, Horse Meat Disco began as a Sunday-night queer party dedicated to reviving the sounds of disco, soul, Italo, house, and funk at a time when those records were largely absent from London’s nightlife. What started as a local residency has since grown into an international phenomenon, with the collective—Luke Howard, James Hillard, Jim Stanton, and Severino Panzetta—headlining festivals, clubs, and Pride celebrations around the world.
