Deep Dish is a Grammy Award-winning electronic music duo consisting of Iranian-American artists Ali "Dubfire" Shirazinia and Sharam Tayebi, who met in Washington, D.C. in 1991 and rose to global prominence with their groundbreaking 1998 debut album "Junk Science" and iconic remixes for artists like Madonna, Dido, and Michael Jackson. Founders of the influential Yoshitoshi label, they pioneered a genre-defying sound blending deep house, progressive, techno, and rock influences, consistently ranking among DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs throughout the 2000s. After disbanding in 2006 to pursue acclaimed solo careers, with Dubfire becoming a leading figure in minimal techno, the duo permanently reunited in 2024 and continue to tour worldwide.
