> > Why is CrowdVolt asking for photo ID?
Some event organizers will require attendees to show the photo ID of the original purchaser along with a QR to ensure validity. We collect this information upfront to help our users avoid any issues at the venue.
When required, you'll need to upload a government-issued ID (such as a driver's license, passport, or state ID) that matches the name on the original ticket purchase. The ID photo must clearly show the name and face/photo on the ID.
For your privacy, you are welcome to redact any other sensitive information on the ID, such as your address, ID number, date of birth, or any other details not needed for verification.
