Every ticket transaction involves three prices: what the seller lists, what the buyer pays, and what the seller receives. Here's how each one works:

Listing price: The amount you set when listing your ticket. It's the baseline everything else is calculated from, but it's not what the buyer pays and not what you take home. For example: you list a ticket for $50.
Buyer's price: The buyer pays your listing price plus a buyer fee, shown as all-in pricing on the event page and broken down again at checkout. For example: $50 listing + $2 buyer fee = $52 total at checkout.
Total earnings: You receive your listing price minus a seller fee, which is deducted from your payout after the sale and shown to you at the time of listing, so there are no surprises. For example: $50 listing - $2 seller fee = $48 paid out to you.

There are no additional fees charged at any stage — what you see at listing and checkout is exactly what you pay or receive.

In the event of a full cancellation:

Buyers will be refunded in full, including any markup or discount. If you paid more than face value, you'll be refunded the higher amount. If you paid less, you'll be refunded the amount you paid.
Sellers must return the full amount they received from the sale, whether it included a profit or involved a loss, since the service (event attendance) was ultimately not delivered.

In the event of a partial curtailment (defined as circumstances where the event organizer or venue cancels, suspends, unduly delays or curtails all or part of an event and issues refunds directly to original ticket purchasers):

Affected buyers will be refunded in full, including any markup or discount, provided that the original event organizer or primary ticketing provider has issued refunds to original ticket purchasers. If you paid more than face value, you'll be refunded the higher amount. If you paid less, you'll be refunded the amount you paid.
Affected sellers must return the full amount they received from the sale. Sellers are not entitled to retain any proceeds, including any markup above face value, once refunds have been issued by the primary ticketing provider.
Refunds for partially curtailed events are only available where the event organizer or primary ticketing provider has offered refunds to original ticket purchasers. If no such refunds are offered, buyers are not entitled to a refund from CrowdVolt for partially curtailed events.

This policy ensures fairness for both parties. Buyers paid with the expectation of attending the event, and sellers are only entitled to proceeds when that service is fulfilled. No, the following ticket details are normal and don't indicate that your tickets are invalid.

Someone else's name is on my tickets. Since CrowdVolt is a ticket marketplace, tickets often include the original buyer's name. Most venues don't check the name at the gate. If accompanying ID is required, a seller must provide this to a buyer for the sale to be deemed valid.
My general admission tickets have a seat number. Venues tend to include seat numbers on general admission tickets to track how many tickets they sold.
I received a CrowdVolt email instructing I need to use a different ticketing app to access your mobile transfer tickets. Mobile transfer tickets are stored in another account, like Ticketmaster or AXS. You will need to login to your third-party account platform to view your tickets.

Early Withdrawals

An early withdrawal means you receive your funds before the event takes place, rather than waiting until after the event has happened. To be eligible for an early withdrawal, you must have a valid card on file.

Why is a card on file required?

Because the event hasn't happened yet, there is still a chance it could be cancelled. If an event is cancelled, the buyer is entitled to a refund. Since you've already been paid early, we use the card you have on file to recover those funds so we can return the money to the buyer.

In short, the card on file acts as a safeguard. It is only used in the event of a cancellation.

When will my card be charged?

Your card on file will only be charged if the event you sold tickets for is cancelled. If the event goes ahead as planned, your card will never be charged and your early withdrawal is yours to keep.

What if I don't add a card on file?

Without a card on file, you won't be eligible for early withdrawals. You'll instead receive your funds after the event has taken place.
