In the event of a full cancellation:

Buyers will be refunded in full, including any markup or discount. If you paid more than face value, you'll be refunded the higher amount. If you paid less, you'll be refunded the amount you paid.
Sellers must return the full amount they received from the sale, whether it included a profit or involved a loss, since the service (event attendance) was ultimately not delivered.

In the event of a partial curtailment (defined as circumstances where the event organizer or venue cancels, suspends, unduly delays or curtails all or part of an event and issues refunds directly to original ticket purchasers):

Affected buyers will be refunded in full, including any markup or discount, provided that the original event organizer or primary ticketing provider has issued refunds to original ticket purchasers. If you paid more than face value, you'll be refunded the higher amount. If you paid less, you'll be refunded the amount you paid.
Affected sellers must return the full amount they received from the sale. Sellers are not entitled to retain any proceeds, including any markup above face value, once refunds have been issued by the primary ticketing provider.
Refunds for partially curtailed events are only available where the event organizer or primary ticketing provider has offered refunds to original ticket purchasers. If no such refunds are offered, buyers are not entitled to a refund from CrowdVolt for partially curtailed events.

This policy ensures fairness for both parties. Buyers paid with the expectation of attending the event, and sellers are only entitled to proceeds when that service is fulfilled. Where an event organizer determines that a partial curtailment warrants refunds, CrowdVolt mirrors that decision across all secondary market transactions on our platform.
