An indoor crowd beneath colorful hanging lights and a disco ball at Elsewhere

Elsewhere: pick the right room for your night

By CrowdVoltSeptember 30, 2026

Elsewhere is a multi-room music venue in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Its Hall, Zone One and Rooftop can run separately ticketed events at 599 Johnson Avenue in Bushwick. Start with the room and lineup: a ticket to one event usually won’t get you into another.

Elsewhere Hall, Zone One or Rooftop?

The venue’s Hall programming page covers live and electronic performances indoors. Zone One’s official page describes its more intimate stage for emerging artists. The Elsewhere Rooftop calendar lists outdoor live shows and club nights.

Check the room on the event listing before buying. If friends are seeing a different lineup at Elsewhere on the same night, you may need separate tickets. Whole-building parties are the exception when the listing explicitly includes all rooms.

Elsewhere address and entrances

The address is 599 Johnson Avenue in Bushwick. For Zone One, Loft and Rooftop events, the venue directs visitors through the larger courtyard entrance on the left. Hall and full-venue parties use the narrower corridor on the right. Check the official Elsewhere entry guidance if your event gives different instructions.

Tickets, age restrictions and photo ID

Elsewhere currently links official sales through Eventbrite. Age limits vary by event, and valid ID is required. Read the specific ID rules before traveling, especially for international visitors or younger attendees. The venue does not permit reentry.

Before buying a resale listing, compare it with the official event. Check the date, room, access conditions and quantity. Then confirm the delivery format and the account receiving the ticket. CrowdVolt’s ticket receiving instructions explain why the purchase record and the entry ticket are different steps.

Doors versus set times

Elsewhere’s visitor help page says DJs generally start at doors, while live music usually begins around half an hour later. Set times can change. If you want to catch an opener, plan around doors instead of treating the advertised time as a suggested arrival window.

A Hall concert followed by a Roooftop party may mean two bookings. Compare the room names and start times, then check whether either listing includes both.

Elsewhere bag policy, coat check and rooftop weather

If you need step-free access, elevator assistance or a viewing arrangement, contact Elsewhere ahead through its help page. Include the event name and the assistance you need so the venue can respond to the right booking.

The help page lists coat check during Hall live shows and late club nights. Empty reusable water bottles are welcome for the refill stations, while outside beverages are not. Bag inspection is part of entry, and larger nights may require bag check.

For bad weather, Elsewhere says it first tries to move Rooftop events indoors. That is not a guarantee: unsafe conditions or a lack of space can lead to a day-of cancellation. Check the venue’s announcement for your event before traveling, rather than assuming an indoor backup is available.

Find your date in Elsewhere’s CrowdVolt event listings. Check the actual ticket conditions before comparing prices, and keep the final event link in your group chat.

FAQ

Does an Elsewhere ticket cover every room?

Usually no. Events are separately ticketed unless the listing explicitly includes multiple rooms or the full building. Match the artists on your ticket link to the set you want to see.

Which Elsewhere entrance should I use?

Use the left courtyard for Zone One, Loft and Rooftop events. The right corridor serves Hall shows and full-venue parties at 599 Johnson Avenue.

Is Elsewhere Rooftop indoors?

No. The Rooftop is an outdoor space; the Hall is indoors. The venue may move a Rooftop show inside during bad weather, but that depends on space and conditions. Check the event announcement.

Can I leave Elsewhere and return later?

No. Elsewhere’s published policy makes exits final. Arrange any separate plans before entering.

When does the music start at Elsewhere?

The venue says DJs generally start at doors and live music usually starts about 30 minutes later. Set times can change; arrive at doors if you want to catch an opener.

What if my friends booked a different Elsewhere room?

Compare the actual event links before buying another ticket. A shared venue name or calendar date does not establish shared access; check the room, artists and admission conditions on both listings.
