City of Gods returns to Industry City in Brooklyn on October 23 and 24, 2026. The eccentric Halloween party includes music, art and performances across two warehouses and a courtyard, with eight stages across indoor and outdoor spaces. Costumes are an essential part of the festival experience, not an optional addition. Official festival site
When attending City of Gods, you should know four things: which ticket to buy, what access it provides, when to arrive and which entrance to use.
Plan your weekend
City of Gods’ Halloween party runs from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Friday, October 23, and Saturday, October 24. The event is 21+ with valid ID, and the posted rules prohibit re-entry. Industry City's event listing
The lineup for both nights is secret, but involved Burning Man camps and creatives include Mayan Warrior and Playa Jazz Cafe. Attendees may opt for a one-night ticket, selecting a Friday or Saturday pass to suit their plans, or a two-night pass to experience the different camps, music and performances on each night.
Co-created by House of Yes and ZERO, City of Gods is built around expression, passion and pleasure. Inspiration can be found on the event site, along with current ticket options. All sales are final. Industry City's listing says online sales end the day before the event, so check the current ticket page before making plans. Venue event details
Confirm your ticket details before going
| Detail | Check | Because… |
|---|---|---|
| Date | Do you have a Friday, Saturday or two-night pass? | Your friends may be discussing a different night. |
| Entry time | Are there arrival restrictions on the ticket you purchased? | Early-entry cutoffs can be 9:30 p.m. or 10 p.m., depending on the ticket. |
| Access | Is your ticket General Admission, Premium or part of a group package? | A group purchase does not explain what spaces you can enter. |
| Delivery | Which platform your ticket will appear in | A receipt alone does not finish a ticket handoff. |
| Total | The final amount for the exact ticket and quantity | The lowest advertised price is not necessarily your checkout total. |
The organizer's current FAQ directs buyers to DICE and Bucketlisters. Early-entry tickets stop scanning at 9:30 p.m. or 10 p.m., depending on the ticket type. The FAQ describes a paid upgrade for late arrival but does not quote a price. Check the deadline on your exact ticket and plan to be scanned in before it. Festival ticket rules
Allow time for the walk from your drop-off point and the entry process. A navigation app's arrival estimate is not a ticket-scanning appointment. If your schedule is tight, compare a less restrictive ticket before buying instead of planning around a last-minute upgrade.
Decide if Premium is what you want, and want to pay for
Premium includes expedited entry, backstage access, private Divinity Lounges, an open champagne bar, dedicated bathrooms and complimentary coat check. Reserved tables and private suites are separate offerings. Official Premium options
Start with how your group wants to spend the night. If everyone plans to move around independently, a reserved gathering space may be less useful than it sounds. If having a shared base matters, ask for the full package terms and total price before comparing it with individual tickets.
Do not assume a Premium ticket includes every benefit listed on the ticket platform. Match anything you pay for to its specific description, and get any additional add-ons confirmed in writing when communicating with event promoters. The word “VIP” in a casual message is not a complete description of what you are paying for.
Get to the right entrance for your ticket
The organizer lists these preferred drop-off addresses:
| Ticket | Entrance address |
|---|---|
| General admission | 571 2nd Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11232 |
| Premium or table reservation | 68 33rd Street, Brooklyn, NY 11232 |
These differ from Industry City's general address. The festival uses indoor and outdoor spaces. Official arrival FAQ
Put the correct pin in your group chat before anyone orders a car. If friends have different ticket types, meet before entering or choose an agreed meeting point inside; do not assume you will use the same queue. Recheck your confirmation and any arrival email on the day in case instructions change. Following City of Gods, Industry City and the organizers on social media may help you keep up with important updates.
Plan the trip home at the same time. Check current transit service rather than relying on the route that worked on your last visit. Keep enough phone battery for your ticket, messages and return journey.
Wear a costume you can dance and explore in
At City of Gods, costumes are not an optional piece of the Halloween party. However, restrictions are in place to maintain a safe atmosphere. The official costume guidelines prohibit weapons, Native American ceremonial headdresses and blackface, and ask guests not to turn someone else's racial or ethnic background into a costume. Costume guidelines
Try the outfit on for more than a photo. Walk, sit, raise your arms and check whether you can reach your phone and ID without taking everything apart. A costume that needs constant adjustments is difficult to enjoy through a long night.
Consider a removable layer that works with the outfit. Choose shoes you can already walk in, secure loose pieces and leave unnecessary props at home. These are practical suggestions, not additional venue rules. If a costume element might cause an entry problem, contact the organizer before joining the line to avoid trouble on the night.
Finish ticket transfers before splitting up
DICE transfers work between DICE accounts. The recipient needs the account associated with the correct phone number, and the transfer must happen before the deadline displayed on the ticket. Organizers can disable the feature; activated tickets cannot be transferred. DICE's transfer instructions
If you purchase City of Gods tickets on CrowdVolt from a seller who can no longer attend, follow the delivery instructions in your order and check that your receiving account details are correct. Confirm the ticket has arrived in your DICE account before heading to the event.
Buying tickets late with a group scattered across the city? Or transferring group tickets to friends running late? Communicate the entry time and access type clearly. When transferring through DICE, use the phone number registered to your friend's account and have them confirm receipt.
If your own plans change, our ticket resale and transfer guide explains the difference between passing a ticket to a friend and offering it through an available resale queue.
Questions before you go
Can I buy City of Gods tickets at the door?
Do not plan on it. The festival FAQ mentions limited door availability, while Industry City's 2026 listing says there are no door sales. Secure a confirmed ticket before traveling or obtain current instructions from the organizer. Festival FAQ, venue listing
Can I pay cash or check a coat?
The festival FAQ says bars and coat check are cashless and accept cards and Apple Pay. Coats and small bags can be checked. Keep your phone, ID and ticket with you, and secure your phone in a zipped pocket. The organizer says it is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Industry City's paid parking lot requires a physical credit card, not Apple Pay. Official payment and coat-check guidance
Does my group have to arrive together?
The organizer says group-ticket holders can arrive separately after transferring tickets to each person. Some restricted tickets cannot be transferred, so check your order before splitting up. Group-ticket guidance
Are costumes required?
Yes. Check the official inspiration and restrictions while planning your outfit; do not rely on a friend's experience at a different Halloween party. Official costume page
Where can I find water and a map?
The organizer's map page identifies information booths as free-water locations and provides general and Premium maps. Check the current map before entering and agree on a meeting point your group can recognize. Festival map
Considering resale? CrowdVolt's resale buying checklist helps you compare the exact date, entry restriction, total cost and delivery method before paying. Use it alongside the organizer's current ticket rules, especially for early-entry and group tickets.
